DJ Misty here and I would like to send out condolences to Whitney Houston's family. Although I was never truly a fan of her music it is sad when we lose someone with as much talent as she had. Now I know people are down on Bobby Brown because they blame him for her down hill slide but lets be honest folks she married him and had a child with him. She stood by him when they had a history of infidelity, scandals, drug and alcohol arrests, and marital problems during their marriage. This is the man she loved and wanted to spend her life with. Although he wasn't the best choice for her to marry she did marry him and she stood by him that's why I was very happy to hear that her family invited him to the funeral. He should be there and his daughter needs him there.
So rest in peace Whitney, you will be missed.

Hello all,
Sorry I haven't written but my show was canceled last week so I will be doing two shows this week.  So what has happen in the entertainment world.  The Grammies had there annual award show of this week which I'm not really sure why they call it an award show when over an 3 hour period they gave out 10 awards. I remember in the olden days when you saw the awards given out and you got to hear the speeches and see the performers in a humble mood for there win. Now it is just three hours of live music which is fine but don't call it an award show. Call it live Grammy performance and visit our site for the list of winners. I feel this is just lazy and an insult to the public. They think that we have that little of an attention span? So I will not be watching the show next year and choose to read about it in the news the next day and if there is a performance that really stands out I will look for it on the net.

Hello all,

Last night's show, I trained two new DJ's on the inter workings of the radio station as well as introduced them on the air to their new audience. Although I'm feel very comfortable with what I was doing I still felt off. I wasn't use to having other people in the room with me and it through me off. Also I realized last night that I don't have to read everything but talk about it instead, so that is what I got from my show last night and I'm very happy with that realization. I also found that is was fun having someone to talk to and bounce views off of.

Hello all,
DJ Misty here and I'm just sending out my thoughts about my show. So my first show back from Winter break was not as good as I would have liked. I had to remember how things worked. Also I seem to always run out of news items to talk to about, so I will work on that. All in all I love reporting on current entertainment events and I hope to continue providing my listeners with all there entertainment news.
